Will the ECB continue to rebuff dovish expectations despite inflation pathway?

The ECB is due to announce their latest monetary policy decision this Thursday. Although no change is expected, markets are cautious ahead of the rate decision and are looking to gauge the potential timing of anticipated rate cuts.  

ECB members have recently sought to quell calls for a dramatic shift in monetary policy given the decline in inflation. So, rate cuts may be coming earlier than originally anticipated.
